Women in Diving.

With over 30-years SCUBA instruction experience as a Course Director/Instructor I have the academic and in water experience to adapt dive training to meet women’s needs.  In fact, I pride myself as having the highest number of women students in Rhode Island.

I was on the NAUI Board of Directors through 2011 which upholds quality International SCUBA standards, policies and procedures for NAUI as well as maintaining the highest safety program within the Industry.

I was indoctrinated as a member with the Women Divers Hall of Fame (www.wdhof.org) which is an international non-profit professional honor society whose member contributions span a wide variety of fields including: The Arts, Science, Medicine, Sports, Exploration, Marine Archeology, Media, Service, Dive Training and Education, Safety, Business, Marine Environment and Conservation, Free Diving, Commercial Diving, and Military Diving.

In addition to volunteering for the Women Divers Hall of Fame Scholarships, I also sponsor on a yearly basis, two scholarships for women:
